LVMH Reports Gain In Operating Income

French luxury group LVMH announced its operating income for perfumes and cosmetics rose 11% in local currency, to $197.7 million, in 2003. Parfums Christian Dior continued to record high profitability within a competitive environment, LVMH executives said.
